President Eric Wu Meets Prime Minister

We are proud to share that last Sunday, Mr. Eric Wu — President of EMPIC Contracting Ltd., Vice‑President of the Chinese Enterprises Society of Canada, and Executive Secretary‑General of the North American International Construction Industry General Chamber of Commerce — was the sole representative from the construction industry at this event. He had the honour of meeting with the newly appointed Prime Minister, Mr. Mark Carney, and hearing his latest policy agenda firsthand. Since its founding, Fairweather Construction Group has achieved steady, quality‑driven growth. Originally focused on concrete forming projects in the private sector, the company has expanded into major public‑sector developments — including transformer stations, public schools, and Indigenous community infrastructure. Over the past few years, the company's annual revenue has consistently doubled or more. In his brief exchange with Prime Minister Carney, Mr. Wu expressed his continued support for the Build BC and Build Canada initiatives and reaffirmed his commitment to contributing to Canada’s infrastructure and community development.
